This was my main breeding pair. Sky Dive (the grey bird) and Sling Shot (the pearl hen) have since been given to a member
of my local parrot club as breeders. He's had them for 3 weeks (march 2005) and already he's got eggs! I hope everything goes
well for him!

Goldfinger (in the back) is Sky Dive and Sling Shot's only surviving chick. He's been given to the club member I mentioned
above. I hope Goldie produces well for him :-) ! I'm hoping he will be better raising his offspring than his parents. Both
his parents are EXCELLENT sitters, just lousy baby raisers.
Mindwipe (at front) is split to pied and is my second handfed tiel. She's a darling, and can be quite bossy if she doesn't
get her way! She is an absolute charm, will eat almost everything put in front of her and goes to everybody ! I have to be
careful at the local Parrot Club meetings as she will happily meander to any free lap or shoulder! She's passed her great
personality to her offspring, who also have her bossy friendliness.

Redshift is my split to Whiteface cock. He's just as friendly as Mindwipe and they've proven to be wonderful breeders. Their
chicks are friendly, bossy, bold and love a good cuddle, just like mom.
I am a VERY small scale breeder! I don't breed for profit. I'm lucky if I sell my birds to cover their bird seed. I breed
for the sheer joy of my pets and for the glee their chicks give me.
UPDATES:
(March 2006)
Redshift and Mindwipe have given me a wonderful clutch of 4 chicks. They didn't want to sit on them after the 8 day mark,
so I pulled them for incubation and handfeeding. So far so good! The oldest is just like dad. Brash, opinionated and a real
hoot to play with!
(Fall 2005)
Redshift and Mindwipe produced 2 chicks. I named them Thor and Hammer. Thor, unforunately, lost a toe when he was several
days old. I tried a new technique with the chicks called Co-parenting. I pulled the chicks to keep them warm and placed them
with their parents for feeding. The chicks turned out to be delightful creatures who later went to an experienced lovebird
breeder. Swindle was also adopted by this lady.
(March 2005)
Spookie and Fuzzbutt will be heading off to their new home to be starter breeders for a local Parrot club member. He's
eager to have these babies because of their genetics :-) . I wish him luck with the babies!
(October 2004)
Redshift decided to pair up with my cinimon hen, Swindle and they're now on two babies. To see what's going on in the
nursury, please check out the link located in 'The aviary' (see to of page for the link).
